Some programs, like games and internet utilities, are addictive. The best ones are very addictive. Here's a list of programs for which you may want to use Addiction Manager. All of them are available at the Info-Mac archives and many other Macintosh archives.
• Sokoban 3D by Graham Herrick: Coming soon! This 3-D implementation of the classic Sokoban game is as challenging as it is addictive. To find out more about it, contact Graham Herrick at gherrick@kagi.com. It will be available on the Info-Mac archives in May 1996.
• Mac Sokoban by Ingemar Rangnemalm: The best Macintosh implementation of the classic Sokoban game. Everyone should try this game. Try to get the latest version which is 3.0.3. The author can be reached at ingemar@lysator.liu.se.
• Realmz by Fantasoft / Tim Philips: This wonderful adventure game is a must-have for all game addicts. The latest version of Realmz is always available at the Info-Mac archives. You can reach Fantasoft at 74163.45@Compuserve.com or Fantasoft1@aol.com.
• MacPipes by Federico Filipponi: This addictive pipe-joining game can make you lose sleep. The author can be reached at fedefil@kagi.com.
• System's Twilight by Andrew Plotkin: This puzzle game, similar to the old 3 in Three and The Fool's Errand, is just as addictive. I've spent days trying to get through the various puzzles. The author can be reached at erkyrath@cmu.edu.
• Solitaire Till Dawn by Semicolon Software / Rick Holzgrafe: As anyone who's played them a lot knows, card games are simple but highly addictive. This program lives up to its name. The author can be contacted at rick@kagi.com.
• Newswatcher by John Norstad: This excellent TCP/IP-based usenet news reader will keep you up late into the night reading threads of messages on any topic under the sun. The author can be reached at j-norstad@nwu.edu. The program is available on the Info-Mac archives and also at ftp://ftp.acns.nwu.edu/pub/newswatcher/.
• Anarchie by Peter N. Lewis: This amazing TCP/IP-based FTP and Archie client lets you surf around to different FTP servers where you can download other addictive games and programs. You can reach the author at support@stairways.com.au. His programs are available at many sites including Info-Mac and ftp://ftp.share.com/pub/peterlewis/.
